What are the activities and tasks given to you during this
month?
During this month, my tasks included planning and
timekeeping major staff meetings to pursue quality
communication and team efforts. I wrote daily reports that
comprised the activity description, highlighting how I
progressed and mentioning any obstacles as briefly as
Task(s)
possible. Problem-solving tasks, another critical aspect of my
role, required me to respond to the issues promptly and
correctly. Furthermore, I gave a hand to other groups in
placing them on the right track and monitored their progress,
thus making sure the tasks were completed as expected and
operations running smoothly.
What skills did you learn through the month?
The course of the month allowed me to polish my
organizational skills. This was done by scheduling team
New skill(s)
meetings and keeping everyone on track. A daily report
writing routine improved my skill in articulating complex
information precisely while stressing the primary outcomes
and obstacles. Continuing to do problem-solving tasks, my
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
analytical skills and creativity improved, which made it
possible for me to find the optimal solution to satisfy the
requirements. Furthermore, overseeing the teams and
providing feedback enabled me to develop leadership
competencies by guiding, bringing members closer and
ensuring tasks were working toward the project goals.
How many meetings did you attend?
Meeting(s)
During this month, I attended a total of 12 meetings.
What are the difficulties you had this month?
I faced the challenge of simultaneously prioritizing
different tasks and responsibilities, which delayed the
completion of some of the functions. Besides, overcoming
unexpected barriers while tackling problem-solving implies
being flexible and persevering. Ensuring that all team
Difficulty/ Challenge(s)
members were working together and collaboratively was also
a problem, especially in meeting schedules and resolving
conflicting viewpoints. Not only have self-motivation and
productivity been tested, but stress management has also
played a crucial role during heavy workdays.
How did you overcome these difficulties?
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
To overcome time management challenges, I prioritized
tasks, set due dates that matched my understanding of the
required workload and used time-blocking techniques to
schedule time for all activities. When I overcame obstacles
while solving problems, I solved them systematically,
divided them into manageable stages, and asked colleagues
for intervention when required. The enhancement of
communication had to do with the fact that it involved
proactive outreach, precise directions, and technology of
digital tools for arrangement and cooperation. To sustain
motivation and productivity, I engaged in self-care, took
breaks now and then, and thus followed manageable goals,
monitoring wins right from the initial stage to stay motivated.
What did you learn from completing the tasks
Completing the tasks this month taught me the importance of
effective communication, both in written reports and verbal
interactions during team meetings. I learned the value of
Learning
adaptability and resilience when faced with challenges, as
well as the necessity of proactive problem-solving to
maintain workflow efficiency. Managing teams highlighted
the significance of leadership and support in fostering
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
collaboration and achieving collective goals. Overall, the
experience reinforced the importance of organization, clear
communication, and continuous learning in achieving
success in a dynamic work environment.
What did you want to learn more?
Apart from my assigned tasks, I was eager to further develop
my project management skills, including techniques for
resource allocation, risk assessment, and stakeholder
management. Additionally, I sought opportunities to deepen
my understanding of industry-specific trends and best
practices to enhance my expertise and contribute more
effectively to team objectives. Exploring new technologies
and tools related to data analysis and reporting also piqued
my interest, as I recognized their potential to streamline
processes and improve decision-making.

What are the activities and tasks given to you during this
month?
During this month, one of my responsibilities was
writing daily reports. For the given task, I had to describe my
daily activities with due attention to the progress and
challenges I encountered while working on the tasks. I had to
ensure that I included not only every relevant detail but every
Task(s)
detail without making my report excessively lengthy or
repetitive. In relation to my daily duties and achievements
and daily reports, I used them as a base to make clear any
problems I had to cope with and how I had got rid of the
issues. Moreover, the progress report also provided valuable
insight as it summarized the achievements and reviewed the
tasks that were accomplished in the same period.
What skills did you learn through the month?
Throughout the month, I learned several valuable
skills. Firstly, I improved my ability to summarize
information and capture important details concisely in my
New skill(s)
daily reports. This required me to prioritize information and
eliminate unnecessary repetition. Moreover, I developed my
organization and time management skills by creating routines
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
and workflows for completing the reports efficiently. I also
learned the importance of being proactive and maintaining
up-to-date and accurate records. Furthermore, I understood
the significance of clear and concise data visualization and
presentation in enhancing my writing skills.
Meeting(s)
How many meetings did you attend?
During this month, I attended a total of 3 meetings.
What are the difficulties you had this month?
Initially, I found it challenging to effectively capture
all the necessary information concisely yet detailed. I was
sometimes in a situation where I had to include all necessary
information, but not to be repetitive and too long. Besides
these, I also had to follow a consistent format and tone for the
reports. This improved my summarization ability because I
Difficulty/ Challenge(s)
had to raise the main issues without using complicated
words. Moreover, I also acknowledged which information
should be prioritized, and I had to eliminate any unnecessary
repetition, making the whole report better and more readable.
As I continued to write daily reports, I became more
comfortable with this task and developed a more efficient
workflow for completing them.
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
How did you overcome these difficulties?
I devised routines to organize the report writing tasks
so that the difficulties would no longer challenge me. I would
start by getting back into the activities of my day and paying
special attention to the things I accomplished or attained
success during the day. Then, I would identify any challenges
or roadblocks and describe how I overcame them or sought
assistance. Finally, I would conclude the report by outlining
my plan for the next day and any additional comments or
observations. I could do that by concisely organizing these
activities and capturing all the important information well. I
also proofread the reports for grammar or spelling errors to
be sure we meet professional standards.
What did you learn from completing the tasks
This experience taught me how to communicate well
and document details in a professional workplace. Writing
daily reports not only helps to keep track of progress and
Learning
performance and serve as a valuable reference for future
assessments and evaluations. Through this procedure,
managers and workers in their teams can understand their
respective roles and the challenges encountered in the task at
College of Administration and Finance Sciences
hand. Also, it presents an opportunity to spot trends or
patterns that can be used to make decisions and process
improvement.
I also realized the significance of being organized and
proactive in maintaining up-to-date and accurate records. It
was the perfect tool for everyone to see each other’s progress,
and then if some were lagging, the others could provide
support or even show the way.
What did you want to learn more?
I would like to learn more about how clear and
concise data visualization and presentation enhance my
writing skills in daily reports. This would allow me to
develop more interesting visual elements and make the
content easy to remember graphically. Furthermore, critical
thinking abilities will allow me to find the answers to the
questions that my colleagues and I have within the reports so
we can make more informed decisions.
