Adaptive Leadership
In today’s rapidly changing business environment, the ability to adapt and lead through complexity is
essential. This essay will explore the concept of adaptive leadership. You will apply an adaptive
leadership model to analyze and propose solutions for a real-world organizational issue or problem.
Adaptive Leadership Model Application

Select one model or framework within adaptive leadership theory (e.g. situational
challenges, leader behaviors, adaptive work)
• Clearly explain the key components and principles of the chosen model.
• Identify a specific organizational issue, challenge or problem you have experienced or
are aware of.
• Apply the adaptive leadership model to analyze the roots and dynamics of the issue.
• Propose strategies informed by the model for how leaders could address and potentially
resolve the issue.
Directions :
• Write an essay that includes an introduction paragraph, the essay’s body, and a conclusion
paragraph to address the assignment’s guide questions. Do not address the questions using a
question-and-answer format.
Your well-written paper should meet the following requirements:
• Be 3-5 pages in length, which does not include the title and reference pages, which are never a
part of the content minimum requirements.
