What are the activities and tasks given to you during this
month?
During this month, my main responsibilities were related to
different areas of hospital business administration. I
participated in project management by helping to plan and
track small hospital projects and following up on their
progress. I worked in data management by collecting and
reviewing data to support administrative decisions. I was also
involved in operations management by assisting the
department in making daily work more efficient and ensuring
that tasks were completed on time. Additionally, I supported
quality management by checking that administrative services
and processes met the hospital’s quality standards. I also
helped in compliance management by making sure that rules
and policies were followed in documentation and reporting.
Finally, I contributed to supply chain management tasks by
helping to organize supplies and improving the information
flow between departments.
What skills did you learn through the month?
I learned how to plan and monitor administrative projects
step by step, and how to use data to support decision-making.
I gained skills in operations management by observing how
processes are improved to save time and resources. I also
developed a better understanding of quality control and
compliance procedures in a hospital environment. In
addition, I learned about the basics of supply chain
management and how important it is for ensuring that the
hospital runs smoothly.
How many meetings did you attend?
I attended 2 meetings with my supervisor and the team.
These meetings focused on reviewing the progress of
administrative projects, discussing challenges, and setting
priorities for the upcoming weeks.
What are the difficulties you had this month?
One of the challenges I faced was learning how to manage
different responsibilities at the same time, such as data
management and quality control. Another difficulty was
understanding the detailed compliance rules and applying

College of Administration and Finance Sciences
them correctly in daily work. Supply chain tasks were also
new to me, and I needed time to adapt to the procedures.
How did you overcome these difficulties?
I overcame these challenges by asking questions when I was
not sure about procedures, using checklists to manage
multiple tasks, and reviewing hospital guidelines for
compliance rules. I also learned from observing my
supervisor and colleagues and applied their advice in my
daily work.

Learning

What did you learn from completing the tasks
From this first month training experience, I learned that
hospital administration depends on coordination between
different areas such as project management, operations,
compliance, and supply chain. I also learned that accuracy,
organization, and teamwork are essential for achieving
efficiency. In addition, I realized that using data and quality
control tools helps in making better decisions and ensuring
that hospital services meet high standards.
What did you want to learn more?
I would like to learn more about how hospital administration
departments design long-term strategies to improve
efficiency and patient services. I am also interested in
learning about leadership skills in healthcare management, as
well as how technology and digital transformation can be
used to support data management, compliance, and supply
chain operations in hospitals.
