Questions to Guide Your Reflection

individually but incorporate your thoughts into a narrative:
1. What stood out to you most about Zak’s research on the connection between oxytocin and trust?
Why?
2. Which of the eight management behaviors resonated most with you? Can you think of a real-life
example where one of these behaviors was practiced effectively?
3. Do you agree with Zak’s conclusion that managers should “get out of the way” after providing
clear direction? Why or why not?
4. How do you think these principles could be applied in a remote or hybrid workplace?
5. Reflect on a workplace or team setting you’ve experienced. Was trust a key component? How did
it affect engagement and performance?
6. What challenges might arise when implementing this framework in diverse or high-pressure work
environments? How could they be addressed?
