The purpose of this assignment is to create an APA title page and reference list for a research paper.
Select a topic to research. You may use Google Scholar, the GCU Library, or other reputable websites to conduct your research.
Part 1: Resources
Use the “Title Page and Reference List” document to create the APA title page and preliminary reference list. Select six relevant references from within the last 5 years. Include at least one from each of the following types of resources:
- Journal articles
- Books
- Book chapter(s)
- Website
- Dissertation or thesis
For each resource, create an APA-formatted reference and write a two-to-four-sentence summary/abstract demonstrating how it is relevant to the topic you selected. Include in your summary a properly formatted in-text citation. Use the “Title Page and Reference List” document to complete this assignment.
Part 2: Reference List
Using your six references, create an APA-style reference list on page 3 of the template.
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.
