Overview:

In this assignment, you will differentiate Scrum Team roles in terms of how
management interacts with a self-sustaining team versus a structured team in a
traditional waterfall project. This will help you envision the most appropriate application
for each type of project management role. You will also be introduced to product
planning and sprinting from roles perspective.

Instructions:

• Explain how management interacts differently within the Scrum framework from
the traditional waterfall framework.

• Summarize the process involved in the product planning.
o What are some of the key challenges?
o How can they be overcome?

• Discuss Scrum team roles in sprint planning.
o How is the Scrum team role different from that of a project manager in the

planning phase of a traditional waterfall project?

Assignment Guidelines:

• Three pages in length, excluding the Title and Reference page.

• APA format, including in-text citations for referenced works.

• At least two resources.
