As a student of youth psychology and behavior, I have studied the effects of social media on mental health, including studies linking excessive use to increased anxiety. and depression. »

The presence of social media in children’s lives poses significant risks, including increased mental health problems, exposure to cyberbullying, and inappropriate behavior.”

D. Summary of Key Points:

Today I will discuss how social media contributes to mental health problems, fosters cyberbullying environments, and encourages harmful behavior in children.”

A. Mental Health Problems

“Studies show a strong link between increased social media use and increased rates of anxiety and depression in young people (Twenge & Campbell, 2018).”
