Determine the historical context of the text: [This article was written in the early 21st century it was a time when humans encountered swift technology boost, this time was explained to be a very dreadful time there is an extreme high stress level and rise in work pressure, which caused increase in mental health problems and balancing life and work]

Identify the core idea of the text: [working hard to make money is good since we can’t avoid it, even most people already accept it and only look for a way to deal with it but it’s also important to know the our stress level and to also understand and know everything have a negative effects and this effect can reduce the quality of life and taking care of one’s physical and mental health is so important for stress]

Everyone handles stress differently and it can manifest in many ways. Some signs of stress are sleeplessness, pain, depression, digestive problems, fluctuations in weight, and greater health issues such as heart disease”(p.3) peluse also talk about how we can’t avoid stress but it’s also important to be aware of our stress levels and to also considered people around us who might be dealing with stress also “Stress is a truly unavoidable reality of life. Most people are aware of stress and many even have adopted ways of coping with stress. It seems as if the ways of technology, intended to make our lives easier, have not only increased our societal pace, but our stress as well. It is important to acknowledge and process our personal stress levels, while realizing that some around us may have stress too, whether or not they are keeping pace with us”(p. 1),The author also provide insight on when to say NO when things become too stressful and knowing and understanding what you can handle “Manage your expectations. ) Stress happens. Realize that you have the power to say no when it becomes overwhelming. Be realistic about what you and your obligations can handle. We often add to our own stress levels with our desire to be all things to all people. Take a step back and strive to understand where the value is in what you are taking on” (p. 6)
