Research a motivational/instructional strategy to share with colleagues. This interactive presentation should encourage continuous development of individual learners. Be creative and make something that will have practical value to you and your colleagues. Think: If I had to present something to my colleagues at a staff meeting that required a “take away” for them to use in their classrooms, what would it be? So, what different strategies can you use to motivate your students? (Your group will only present one, but it needs to be fully developed and explained. An example would also be a good thing to add). Perhaps research culturally responsive techniques – or positive, proactive classroom management techniques, etc.
Idea: Benefits of Station Work
Station Work: Define~ Breakout groups or smaller groups that allow students more personalized instruction, allow them to stay on task for shorter amounts of time- they would circle through stations and not lose focus, allow groups to be broken up into ability levels,
Ex. Math class group 1 would finish homework group… 2 would be doing work with a teacher… group 3 would be doing review work…
Ex. Reading groups
Idea: Modify groups based on special ed kids or exceptional learners who are in the classroom
· Integrate scenario as if we were saying what would you do/ how would you handle this situation…

· Scenarios at the end… classmates can base their discussion on for our discussion post.- With open questions about the scenarios for them to talk about.
· Interactive Quiz/ Game throughout or at end.
You will create 3-5 powerpoint presentation slides focusing on a specific area in an early childhood setting/classroom preschool(age 3-5yrs old) dealing with station work. Pick a developmental domain and create a classroom work on that. We will focus on modeling positive behavior to motivate learning. This presentation should be interactive to the audience, so we will do that by asking questions in a slide and then answering it etc(or any other ways we can engage the audience). Also I need at least two questions for peers to answer as a discussion concerning my presentation. I need to turn it in tomorrow monday please when i get home in the evening.
Please try to not use too many references if possible, but we do need it.
