Hello class,
Learning about the history of research impacted the history of biomedical research because it helps me think, cultivate and dissect an article and analyze the content. I now know how to evaluate participant interaction methods to make sure they are carried out fairly and ethically .Protecting the rights and dignity of persons who decide to participate in research is the aim of ethical research. (Chamberlain University, 2023)
It is important to let participants know about the study and any possible consequences. The researcher bears the responsibility of guaranteeing that participants are duly informed about the study and the implications of participating. Respecting ethical standards is crucial because research frequently requires extensive collaboration and coordination between individuals from various disciplines and institutions. Ethical standards uphold the principles that are fundamental to collaborative work, including accountability, trust, respect for others, and justice (Resnik, 2020)
Compared to my PICOT question, I do think today’s researchers adequately protect the rights of human subjects. My PICOT Question focused on the intervention of custom culture Tailored interventions for Hispanic community in order to decrease the high blood pressure values. I think that most current researchers uphold the confidentiality of their subjects. It also includes right targeted data sources and population. However, A governmental or professional authorize should supervise any researcher who want to conduct clinical studies or study on human issues to make sure all ethical guidelines have been observed.
