Project Prep Part I:
Read the article Edertopia attached. In order for us to create an ideal Eldertopia for the aging population, it is essential to first identify the broader societal issues that they face. In this Module I assignment, you will be expected to conduct research and identify the key issues that need to be addressed in order to create an Eldertopia. When conducting your research, it is important to prioritize academic sources such as peer-reviewed articles from reputable journals and established organizations. To find academic sources, you can start by searching the library databases and consult with the librarians for assistance. Additionally, when selecting sources, make sure they are credible and recently published to ensure they are relevant to the current issues facing the aging population. Avoid using sources from opinion-based websites or those that lack proper scientific evidence.
ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS: In this assignment, you will identify at least
four issues that are a challenge for the elderly in the United States. You will discuss each of these issues (minimum of 200 words addressing each issue), and then discuss how and where you will look for academic sources to further explore these issues. Include databases you will use, and key search terms to use.
You will submit this as a Microsoft Word document on Canvas.
