3.3 Discussion. Big Picture of Happiness
Getting Started
Research about positive psychology has been exploding in the last decade or so. One of the more popular areas of study has been the construct of happiness. Because work takes the most amount of time from a person’s life—next to family—it is important for psychologists to have a foundation of happiness and well-being as they relate to careers and work situations. You will be a more effective life coach or I/O psychologist by having a sound and comprehensive understanding of the emotion of happiness, especially as it relates to work situations.
Upon successful completion of this discussion, you will be able to:
· Evaluate happiness in relation to themes and life coaching.
