Scenario
Before observing Dr. Lydia’s first classroom, you want to ensure she understands the university’s expectations. You plan to meet with her to explain how she will be evaluated. During your observation, you will be utilizing a rubric to assess Dr. Lydia’s instruction methods. Prior to the meeting, you need to prepare rubric and a brief explanation explaining the aims of the criteria.
Instructions
· Create a rubric for Dr. Lydia’s classroom observation. The rubric must include four columns of effectiveness (1-4 score) and four rows, each measuring a component of effective instruction to adult learners.
· Write a brief paragraph explaining how the rubric criteria evaluate methods of effective instruction for adult learners.
