2. Find two peer-reviewed articles on the topic you have chosen. Please note that all articles should be chosen from peer-reviewed journals.  Examples of peer-reviewed journals are found in the first chapter of the textbook (see Table 1.2).

3. Submit a written paper using the following structure:

  • A) Discuss why you chose to elaborate on this particular concept.
  • B) Summarize the information from each of the articles. Each summary should be a minimum of one paragraph in length.
  • C) Compare and contrast the two articles that you chose.
  • D) Connect the information you have found to course content on the same topic.
  • E) Discuss how this construct is particularly relevant to your area of interest in sport/exercise.

Format for the submission of Assignment 1:

  1. 12 pt times new roman font, double spaced.
  2. Minimum page limit is 3 pages.  Maximum page limit is 5 pages.  The page limit does not include the title page or reference page.Any writing beyond the page limit will not be read.
  3. Please include a title page with your name, student number, date, course number, and assignment number.
  4. APA (7th edition) format
