Overview:

This exam will only cover Unit 8 materials! Please be sure to answer each question fully
and include references to your textbook and at least two supplemental resources. You
will have the opportunity to save your work and return to it as needed.

Instructions:

1. Describe three similarities in major world religions in terms of how they define
gender roles and norms and what messages they produce around gender. How
have some women redefined their religion or spirituality with a feminist
perspective?

2. Give three examples of gendered laws or policies. How do these affect
individuals and their behaviors? What ways can society remedy these
consequences?
