Two parts: Please divide into two separate document
1. Research Outline (2-3 pages) – write an outline of your proposed final paper addressing all issues you plan to discuss in the final paper, along with a list of sources upon which you intend to rely. Explain why each source is valuable to your research plan and how you intend to use the source. The professor expects to see a variety of sources.
2. Final Research (8-10 pages) – develop a research question (check below) about a particular aspect of the relationship between sports law and its role in society. Continue to expand upon your proposal and outline by carrying out research that provides answers to your question(s). Your paper must show well-reasoned and clear research of your topic(s) and analysis. Access a variety of sources.

You must utilize a minimum of three academic journals or other similar scholarly legal works beyond our assigned readings. Law reviews would be a good example. You may use case law as appropriate and must use that if you are discussing specific cases within your paper.
b. Citations are expected in the form of an annotated bibliography at the end of the paper. The bibliography does NOT count towards the total page count.
