Follow the instructions on page 54 of FieldWorking.
You need only to choose 2-3 subcultures
Make sure to write about the ethical concerns regarding the study of each subculture (Step 3) and also the potential issues that will affect your study (Step 4)
- For each subculture, make it known if you’d observe as an insider or outsider.
This should end up looking list one paragraph (at least 4-5 sentences) per subculture.
It’s worth taking some time here, as you will eventually need to pick a subculture for an upcoming project.
