Torrancetown International Sports Stadium Scenario

For this scenario, you have moved to the fictitious city of  Torrancetown USA, along the Eastern Seaboard halfway between New York and Virginia. With a good mix of seasons and ever-changing weather, this town has grown into a small city over the past decade.Covering just over 40 square miles and having a current population of just about 75,000 people it is a small business cornerstone and a potential hot spot for continued growth over the next several decades.

One the largest attractions in Torrancetown is the International Sports Stadium. It has 80,00 seats and will be hosting the upcoming World Superstar Soccer Game:

The Northern Hemisphere All-Stars vs. the Southern Hemisphere All-Stars.

This is it folks, this is what it’s all about, one game! Today is the day for the World Superstar Soccer game here in Torrancetown! The Northern Hemisphere All-Stars vs. the Southern Hemisphere All-Stars.  Are you Ready!

As you can see people are very excited about this upcoming game. Outside of the 80,000 seats that will be filled, fans unable to obtain a ticket are expected to be milling about the outside of the stadium and catching some of the game action in nearby bars and restaurants. A fireworks show will launch from a nearby river barge just after the end of the match. Extra buses and trains will be running throughout the day, however traffic is expected to be heavy in the immediate area of the stadium and on all nearby major roads, highways, and  bridges leading into the stadium. International news media will be on hand to cover the event.  There will also be a handful of environmental  action organizations have applied for protest permits to speak out against some of the corporate sponsors of the event. Planning for this event has started over a year ago and has been ongoing. The focus of these planning sessions has been to improve communication, collaboration and coordination amongst all of the stakeholders for this event.
