You are the Manager of Analytics at CBU Health.

Your team is very robust with a wide range of skillsets.

Your team has access to a wide range of tools and has the expertise to use those tools.

CBU Health is a very large, academic organization that includes 10 hospitals across a wide geographic area.

The staff are very competent and dedicated to patient care.  However, most clinical areas are suffering from staff shortages.

Over the last month, inpatient hospital occupancy has been consistently above 100% across all CBU Health hospitals.

Staff are remarking to colleagues, as well as posting to social media, that they ‘have never been busier’.  The media has picked up this story and are demanding answers from the CEO on how they are addressing the ‘busiest time in CBU Health’s history’.

The CEO of the hospital approaches you and your team to investigate – is it the ‘busiest’ time in CBU Heath’s history?

Your requirement:

Prepare a 10-minute power point presentation that outlines your plan to investigate if CBU Health is busier than ever.

You can use the components of an Analytics Strategy to help guide your plan.  For example, consider the various type of stakeholders that would need to be involved in this initiative and when is the right time to engage with them.

You will also record your presentation (you can use Teams for this) and submit this on Moodle as well.
