You have a friend that is currently experiencing intimate partner violence (IPV) and does
not want to reach out for help because they do not think the abuse is “that bad” due to a
lack of physical abuse. How would you help your friend and respond to their comment?
What resources would you point them to, especially if they are not a “typical” victim
society would expect to see?

Instructions:
• Frame your response as a 2-page letter you are sending to your friend through

email.

Requirements:

• Submit a Word document in APA format.

• Two pages in length, excluding the Title and Reference pages.

• At least two references.

Be sure to read the criteria below by which your work will be evaluated before
you write and again after you write.
