To all students and users: Please be advised that studydaddy.com (and variations like studdaddy.com) is a highly sophisticated scamming network. Avoid this website like the plague.
Here is what you need to know to protect yourself:
THEY WILL DRAIN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT If you enter your card details, they will continuously charge your card without your knowledge or consent. They operate out of Cyprus, which they use as a shield to make it incredibly difficult for you to trace them or get your money back legally.
️ THEY SELL YOUR DATA & BLACKMAIL YOU Do NOT post your assignment details or personal information on their site. They will harvest your details, use them to blackmail you, and sell your personal and financial information to Russian scammers online.
THEY SCAM BOTH STUDENTS AND WRITERS This is not a legitimate tutoring or freelance site. They exploit students looking for academic help, and they simultaneously refuse to pay the writers who actually do the work.
THE EVIDENCE IS PUBLIC Do not just take my word for it. Go to Trustpilot and Reddit and search for “StudyDaddy.” You will find hundreds of reports from victims who have had their money stolen and their identities compromised.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU ALREADY SIGNED UP:
- Immediately call your bank or credit card company.
- File a dispute/chargeback for any charges from them.
- Cancel your card immediately to stop them from making future unauthorized charges and get your funds back.
- Do not respond to any threats or emails from them if they try to contact you.
