Changing the Outcome: After studying Module 4: Lecture Materials & Resources, discuss the following:

Think of a time when you were managing conflict (AS A HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER) and it did not go the way you hoped.

Based on the textbook readings this week:

·       How would you manage the conflict differently?

·       What were the factors that led to the original outcome?

·       How would you do things differently in order to change it to a more positive outcome?

Remember not to use real names when referring to people not in this class. Use at least one in-text citation from each chapter you read in this module.

Discuss the topic below which deals with a current situation relating to conflict. This topic is as current as of 2024- 2025, and has had an effect on our economic, political, or social system in the United States.

Political Division and Election Conflicts (2024 Presidential Election & Aftermath)

  • Economic Effects: Market uncertainty due to policy shifts depending on election outcomes.
  • Political Effects: Disputes over election integrity, voting rights, and potential civil unrest.
  • Social Effects: Rising polarization, misinformation concerns, and protests related to governance and democracy.

This project is expected to generate solutions to your (selected) problem with a recommended method towards resolving the identified conflict based upon our past reading assignments and experience.

Your paper should reflect your view and not just a rehash of the author’s thoughts. 

Submission Instructions:

·       The paper is to be 7 pages in length, current APA style, excluding the title and reference page.

·       Incorporate a minimum of 5 current (published within the last five years) scholarly journal articles or primary legal sources (statutes, court opinions) within your work.

·       Your paper is to be clear and concise, and students will lose points for improper grammar, punctuation, and misspelling.
