· Discuss the intersectional factors (i.e., race, gender, class) that may contribute to structural racism discrimination in the healthcare industry.
· Compare the morbidity and mortality rates of diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, and cancer in White and non-White communities.
· Describe the rates of diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders of the dominant and subcultural group in the U.S.
· Examine two theoretical models that may contribute to the relationship between exposure to oppression, discrimination, and healthcare disparities.
