      Due Thursday 

      Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words: 

      Widespread weather changes are now becoming something of a common occurrence. Understanding weather patterns can support better public health preparedness and response. Analyze the weather history across a specific geographic region in the USA and discuss the findings of your research. Focus on core concepts such as:

      • The influence of human activities on weather extremities
      • Patterns of weather changes over the decade
      • Other causes and effects of extreme weather conditions
      • Population health concerns due to weather changes
      • Patterns, impacted age ranges, and types of illness due to the above factors

      Example: California has experienced horrifying wildfires contributing to loss of lives, displacement of communities, and growing economic instability. 

       

      Review the following articles which talk about extreme weather calamities to help you complete this discussion:

       Include the reference(s) used to validate your response. Cite those sources within your narrative.
