ASSIGNMENT
So far, you have created the following sections for your company’s logistical plan:
- Logistics and Information Technology
- Logistics Performance Measurement
- Procurement Process
- Demand Management and Customer Service
- Warehousing and Packaging
For Week 6, you are required to consolidate all of these components into a final presentation that clearly explains and integrates your company’s overall logistics strategy
For your final assignment, you will submit a narrated presentation that explains the above five processes you have developed for your company’s logistical plan. A typical logistical plan generally includes detailed sections that cover multiple aspects of a company’s logistical processes. However, given the time limitations of this course, you have been asked to develop the above critical sections.
Step 1: In addition to a cover page and a references page, your presentation must include the following sections:
- Executive summary (No more than 1-2 slides)
- Company Profile (Brief description of your company)
- Logistics, Information Technology, Performance Measurement (Week 1 and 2’s Assignments)
- Procurement Process (Week 3’s Assignment)
- Demand Management and Customer Service (Week 4’s Assignment)
- Warehousing and Packaging (Week 5’s assignment)
Note. Do not copy and paste entire assignments into your presentation. Your presentation should be a brief, succinct description of the above-mentioned sections.
Step 2: Develop your narrated presentation using PowerPoint. Please review these resources that might help you narrate your presentation on a PC; click here. For Mac, watch the following video.
Your narrated presentation should meet the following criteria:
- A recording (oral) component of your research
- At least 12-15 slides
- A cover slide and a reference slide
- At least five (5) peer-reviewed articles
- APA formatted, organized, clear, and grammatically correct
- Follows the standard use of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- At least 5-minute and at most 15-minute long.
Note that presentations that do not have the oral component will automatically receive a D.
Step 3: Submit your presentation either as a video file or a YouTube link. If you need any assistance with uploading your video to YouTube, please review the following video
