PART A-

Discussion: Assessing My Client-300 words

Clinicians, from the moment they meet their client for the first session until the last, continually assess their client for varying psychological elements. The first session gathers information and assesses the client’s issues and how the therapeutic process can help them. Furthermore, clinicians may use varying assessments like the PHQ & (9) and the HSCL to measure varying levels of psychological functioning, distortions, and feelings/emotions. Therefore, we must understand the importance of ethical planning, delivery, interpretation, and result feedback to the client.

for this course before responding to the prompt below.

As the world evolves technologically, clinicians must acknowledge and understand how technology informs their practice, the therapeutic process, and the client. Ethically, we have responsibilities to consider in giving telehealth counseling. Furthermore, social media is a huge part of many clients’ and clinicians’ lives, and it needs to be understood how to handle this vast communication network ethically. Each code of ethics has responsibilities that the clinicians are responsible for pertaining to these factors.

Up to this point, you have read most of the 2014 ACA Code of Ethics, gleaning from its pages a sense of urgency in understanding professional ethics and the boundaries a clinician must instill in their practice. Based on your readings, articles, DB interactions, and videos, write a 500-word reflection addressing the following prompts:

·
What boundaries do you see implementing with your practice?

·
What ethical considerations do you possibly foresee experiencing with the population you intend to work with related to upholding boundaries?

·
Explain what boundaries you believe are malleable. Give an example.

Provide at least two article resources (other than the videos) to support your thought process and comments. Citations and reflection must be formatted according to the APA guidelines.
