The strength of association between chronic alcohol consumption and development of liver cancer in adults in FloridaThis study aims to examine the strength of the association between chronic alcohol consumption (risk factor) and development of liver cancer (outcome) among adults in Florida. We will utilize data from the FLHealthCHARTS.gov website along with findings from three published abstracts. Risk factors for Liver Cancer Non-modifiable risk factors: Age, gender, race, family history, hereditary/genetic disorders, and chronic hepatitis B, hepatitis C Modifiable risk factors: Chronic heavy alcohol use, smoking, immunosuppression, cirrhosis, metabolic dysfunction, excess body weight, and anabolic steroids.
