This week’s assignment will build on that effort by defining the population currently most affected by this community shortcoming and who will likely benefit when the disparity is resolved. For example, if you determine that safe public recreational parks are your community’s greatest shortcoming, the population most impacted would be children/youth (ages under 18). You would also want to highlight if there are socioeconomic status (SES) factors, environmental factors, and so forth that you must consider with this population and the need.
