the first Discussion Activity for this course is an introduction. This is a required discussion post. Please post a paragraph introducing yourself to your classmates. Aim for approximately 200-250 words, but you can write more than this if you choose. Tell your classmates something about who you are and what your goals are for this course. Once you have submitted your activity, please reply to at least three of your classmates’ posts. Remember to be courteous, professional, and polite.

Discussion Activities are graded assignments. You must do Discussion 1 but after that, you have a choice about which ones you do. Each Discussion Activity is worth 5 points. Every student who completes Discussion Activity 1 (which includes responding to your peers) will receive a score of 5/5 for completing the assignment.

If you don’t submit your Discussion 1 and/or do not respond to three of your peers, you will receive 0/5 on this assignment. If I get the sense that very little care or attention was paid to completing the discussion, I may drop your grade down to a 4/5. This would likely occur if you respond to your peers’ posts with one word responses, or if you use unprofessional language in your posts, such as calling a peer a skibidi rizzler.

For basic searching of one or more words anywhere in the text, just type them separated by spaces. All words longer than two characters are used.
