Based on your review of the literature, select a controversy or challenge in health services in the United States. Write a 5-7-page paper that takes a position on how to address that challenge based on your deliberate review of the evidence. In addition to making recommendations to address the challenge, you should describe other point(s) of view on the issue, and use historical evidence, contemporary evidence, and what you have learned about the health care system to support your position. Each paper must include at least 10 data sources that describe the history of the policy’s development, the procedures by which the policy was or will be implemented, and aspects of current controversy or debate. At least 5 of your sources should be scholarly research in peer-reviewed journals. Visit the Research Help module for resources on developing and writing your paper and avoiding plagiarism. Remember to cite your sources using APA style.
