Unit III PowerPoint Presentation Your assignment for this unit is to complete a PowerPoint presentation based on the following scenario: 

The manufacturing facility where you work is experiencing counterproductive work behavior in the department (tardiness, poor performance, and gossip) between the day and evening shift employees. As a result, production numbers have slipped in comparison with other regional production facilities in the company. 

As the newest member of the management team, you have been tasked with analyzing what is wrong and coming up with a plan to increase job satisfaction and employee motivation. You are to present your analysis and plan in PowerPoint form for the management team, general manager of your facility, and the regional manager.

Be sure to cover the following information in your PowerPoint presentation. 

Give some background on your research findings about cognitive dissonance, attitudes, and job performance. 

Choose an approach for measuring job satisfaction, and explain why this is the right approach for your company. 

Describe how job conditions can influence job satisfaction, and recommend changes for increasing job satisfaction. 

Explain how the organization can improve performance through job involvement and psychological empowerment. 

How can leadership use these to turn around the counterproductive work behaviors? 

Identify how you can increase employee engagement in the company. 

What steps will you need to change for evening shift versus day shift? 

Discuss the job characteristics model and how you can use information from this in your production facility. 

Recommend an employee involvement program for your company, and explain how this will help improve worker satisfaction. 

Use the slide notes at the bottom of each slide to explain information on the slides. Include graphics or images as necessary to enhance the quality of the presentation. Your completed PowerPoint presentation must be at least 10 slides in length. You are required to use at least three outside sources, one of which must come from the Waldorf Online Library. All sources used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying APA citations
