Community Health Assessment[WLOs: 1, 3] [CLOs: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Prior to beginning work on this assignment, read Chapter 1 and 2 from Turnock’s Public Health: What It Is and How It Works and Chapter 3 from Delivering Health Care in America: A Systems Approach.

Your community is about to undertake a community health assessment, and you have been tasked to review and improve the list of community health profile indicators proposed for this process. These include the Healthy People Leading Health indicators (found in the Turnock text) and the basic community health indicators proposed by the IOM (found in the Turnock text).

After reviewing the available resources and health issues in your community, identify four indicators you would add to this list, based on what you know about the health status and needs of your community.
Support your recommendations with research.

The Community Health Assessment

must be two to three double-spaced pages in length (not including title and references pages) and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Writing CenterLinks to an external site..
must include a separate title page with the following:
- Title of paper
- Student’s name
