Final project – Annotated playlistMusic 102 For your final project, you will create a playlist of five songs that follow a theme of your choosing. You may wish to draw on themes we have discussed throughout the course, for example music and politics, music and religion, music of migration and diaspora, musical fusion and transformation, etc. You may choose songs that appear in our course materials or songs of your own choosing. Provide a list of the songs with a link to the recording on the web. Name your theme at the top of the page. For each song, write about 200 words describing why you chose the song for this theme, including at least one outside source (article, website, book, video, etc.) which you will cite for each song (total of five sources minimum). You may choose to analyze any aspects of the song including lyrics, cultural context, the background or biography of the artist, historical context, and any relevant sonic qualities of the song (i.e. instrumentation, structure, sound quality, style, etc.)Starting place for library research:
