Gifts in Leadership
After studying Module 4: Lecture Materials & Resources, discuss the following:
In this module, we are learning about gifts and how they help us become better leaders. There are two types of gifts we’ll talk about: spiritual gifts and natural gifts (or talents).
- Spiritual gifts are special abilities that come from God, which help us do good things and lead others well. For example, wisdom, kindness, or the ability to encourage others.
- Natural gifts are talents we are born with, like being good at problem-solving, working with others, or creating things. These talents can be used for good or bad, depending on how we choose to use them.
Your life circumstances—like the people you’ve learned from or the challenges you’ve faced—can also help shape who you are as a leader.
