Health care is delivered via multiple avenues; however, one of the most notable health care delivery systems is through inpatient facilities and services. Many people are aware of hospital inpatient services but may be unaware of the considerations related to costs, such as average length of stay, utilization of supplies and services, and determinants for profitability.
