Scholarship essay I want to talk about these things

Here’s how you can break the essay into the specified categories while keeping it clear and impactful:

Tell Us About Your Goals

My ultimate goal is to become a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and use my skills to serve underprivileged communities. As someone who grew up in a low-income family, I’ve seen how limited access to quality healthcare impacts families and individuals. This has fueled my passion to bridge that gap and provide compassionate, accessible care to those in need. Currently, I’m working full-time as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) while pursuing my RN degree. Becoming an NP will allow me to make an even greater impact, offering comprehensive care and advocating for those who feel overlooked.

Community Service or Other Influential Activities

While I haven’t had formal opportunities for community service, my life has been shaped by helping others. Growing up, I took on responsibilities early, working since the age of 15 to help support my single mother and siblings. This instilled in me a strong sense of duty and resilience that I carry into my nursing career. Every day, I serve my patients with empathy and dedication, treating each interaction as an opportunity to positively influence their lives. My upbringing taught me the value of perseverance, compassion, and the importance of giving back, which has deeply influenced my desire to help underserved communities as a future NP.

Conclusion

Balancing a full-time over night nursing job with school hasn’t been easy, but it’s a challenge I embrace because it brings me closer to my dreams. This scholarship would ease the financial burden and allow me to focus on my studies, helping me take the next step toward becoming a Nurse Practitioner who uplifts and serves underprivileged communities. Thank you for considering my application.
