As you work through this week’s activities, think about the following questions:
- How do ACEs impact the development of children and adolescents?
- What is the role of the social worker in assessing and addressing the ACEs of clients and their families?
ACEs are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood, and can include violence, abuse, and growing up in a family with mental health or substance use problems.
